Genres

We publish post-apocalypse, dystopian, cyberpunk and gritty science-fiction that pushes the boundaries of the human spirit to its breaking point. Horror will be considered on a case by case basis. Associated original artwork (with appropriate copyright usage) is encouraged, but not required.

The following genres will NOT be considered: romance, fantasy, historical fiction, young adult,  fanfiction/copyrighted material, or erotica. Explicit content is allowed, so long as it’s in the context of a larger story. We encourage and frequently utilize elements of many other genres, but at the heart of each of our works is the human struggle against the unknown and the overwhelming.

Works utilizing copyrighted material without permission will be automatically rejected.

AI Usage

The use of generative AI (drafting, writing, and editing) is strictly prohibited. Suspicion of use will result in an automatic rejection. Draft copies, revision logs, etc must be provided at request to verify authenticity.

Format

Query letter and the first 10 pages for novels and novellas. .docx/.pdf preferred. Times New Roman, single spaced, 12pt font.

Only submissions that have been thoroughly edited and revised will be considered for publication. Resubmissions following revisions are welcome. We do offer general editing in-house, but are limited by time and availability.

NOTICE. At this time, because we are a small team of two, we are currently unable to provide cover art as an in-house service. In the future, we’d like to have a group of artists that we work closely with and can recommend, but all transactions and copyrights will be between the author and artist. We can assist in the search for artists, but it will be up to the author to organize contracts and subsequent follow through for production.
